Peoria Auto Repair

I scheduled my 05 Buick into Tech 1 for oil change and check a miss in the engine. Fred and his guys started on the car right away and gave me a ride home. The office called me on updates as the mechanics worked though the engine miss. I was called when the engine problem was solved to tell me what the cost would be to get my permission to go ahead on repairs. The office called when repairs were complete and came to pick me up. The car works great and I haven't had any problems since. I appreciate the professional work of Fred and his team. I have always been satisfied with their work and have never had to take anything back for further repairs.I have referred people to Tech 1 because I trust them to do great work! Gary Heusman

As usual, we had great service and friendly reception by Hunter. They even fixed the bolts on my wheelchair lift! They also gave me a ride home, which is not close to them. I appreciate the way they always do such a good job at everything they do.

Over the years when my vehicle has an "issue" - I go in to a "panic". I found out about Tech 1 Auto ~ last year, and I feel I can TRUST them - which is huge for me! HONESTY IN AUTO REPAIR ~ IS RARE. I now feel if I have a problem; I can just call Fred : ) Fred and all his mechanic's are very nice, easy to talk to, and they explain things and make sure they have answered all my concerns and questions! Fred & his employees are super doing there jobs! They are able to repair any problem that you may have also doing it quickly& politely. Would not take my car or street rod anywhere else!!!!

I don't trust mechanic shops, was recommended by MCC, I was tired of so called repair shops claiming to be electronic or on board computer specialist. Fred is not a mechanic he is a Technician and a good honest one. I'm in the HVAC business and I consider myself to be a Good Technician so I can see TALENT when I see it. Fair Price and Honesty. Any shop can repair brakes and shocks and tune-up, but being a Technician is in a class of its own! I have been taking my vehicle(s) to Fred Hules for over 35 yrs. Fred and the automotive team at Tech 1 Auto are very accommodating, respectful and honest. I have never feared being taken advantage on repairs because I am female. I have the utmost trust in the Tech 1 Auto team. My repairs have always been done correctly and in a timely manner. Thank you Fred, Abel and the whole Tech 1 Auto team.

Having a mechanic you can trust is hard to put a price on. Repairs aren't cheap, but I never have to worry about whether or not Fred or his people are telling the truth. You can always find someone to do it cheaper, no matter what you are looking for. If what you are interested in is good value for your money then Tech 1 is as good as it gets.

Needed the A/C checked, it was blowing hot air to the rear of the van.Dropped it off on wed it was ready the next morning. Problem fixed at minimal cost, excellent work and great customer service.
