Every time I take my vehicle to Tech 1 Auto, I have peace of mind that Fred and his staff will tell me exactly what I need, and also what I don't need. I believe in the quality of their service so much, that my Mom from out of state will wait until she visits here to have her car serviced!

The car was filled with diesel fuel rather than gasoline by mistake. Our Toyota dealer wanted 1,000 bucks to repair. They said it could cost an additional 100 dollars per gallon to remove & dispose ot the diesel. There were 15 gallons in the car. I found Tech 1 on line & decided to find out what they would charge & what type of shop it might be. I went in at opening time only to find a meeting going on with the owner & staff. The owner, Fred, interrupted his discussion to speak to me. I explained the situation & asked if he could repair it & if so about how much. He immediatly said " we will repair the car for 150 dollars" & do it today. They had the car at 9:30 am. Fred called me at 4 pm to have me come & pick it up. The car is perfect again. This shop is exactly what everyone hopes to find when they need their car repaired. Fred & staff are experts in these matters & the most honest people I have ever seen in a auto repair shop. It is easy to get the work done & you will feel you got what you paid for in every way. This should be the industry standard. If you want integrity go see Fred.

My wife's car all of a sudden had her dashboard gauges go haywire and was not looking forward to getting it fixed since I knew it would be expensive. I saw the reviews on this website and decided to try my luck with a new mechanic. Suffice to say, I dont trust many mechanics and went into the shop expecting to get over charged and taken advantage of. Let me be very clear.....I have never run across such thorough and complete dianostic check than I did with Tech1Auto. Dropped the car off, got a call later in the day and when I got there, received a 14 page dianostics that was extremely thorough. Needless to say, I have found a mechanic that will always work on my vehicles and would highly recommend anyone that has been burned in the past to check out Tech1Auto. I first went to Tech 1 after being told by another garage that I needed a new a.c. for $1200. Tech 1 fixed it for less than $50 and it lasted for another 2 years befor the expansion valve gave out. I appreciate the honest information I get from these folks and the quality of the work they do AND they give you a 36 mo/36,000 mile warranty on repairs! Amazing! They are the best garage I have ever dealt with.

I highly recommend Tech1 Auto! From my prior experiences over the past two years, Fred Hules is a very honest man who takes pride in his shop and does excellent work. Their customer service is very good. He is also very knowledgeable on alternative fuel vehicles, which has come in handy for me a few times on my CNG Suburban. I highly recommend Tech1 Auto to anyone - especially someone with an alternative fuel vehicle.

I was very happy with my recent visit to Tech 1 Auto. I knew that my timing belt needed replacement at 90K miles and was nearing 100K miles. Also with the extreme temps in the desert I didn't want to risk it. I made an appointment and brought it in and they were very thorough, giving me a full estimate of all of the things that they found that needed attention with my Toyota. They were very honest about which items needed attention now and which ones could be "put off" for a little while. They did a courtesy vehicle inspection and found that my battery was getting towards the end of its life and informed me of many other things that I was not aware of. They did my timing belt, water pump, fan belts, and oil change and were the most reasonably priced of the 4 shops that I received quotes from. I am very satisfied with the service I received from Tech 1 Auto and will continue to go there in the future.

I came across Garagefly.com when looking for a mechanic and saw that Tech 1 Auto had 39 reviews. All reviews were very positive so I called and spoke to Fred and explained my problem(s). I've never run across a mechanic as thorough and honest as Fred as everything I mentioned he had checked and called to let me know his findings. As we were going over the items, he asked which I wanted taken care of and he proceeded to fix them. One item that I thought was a major concern turned out not to be a problem at all and this alone has made me a customer that will go no where else. I have found a mechanic that I feel lucky to have found. I highly recommend Tech 1 Auto to anyone that needs automotive repairs. You will not be disappointed.

Our Subaru had reached 70k miles and needed a lot of scheduled maintenance work. Fred put together a list of everything that needed done and prioritized it for me so that I wouldn't have to do everything in one shot if I couldn't afford it. All the work was finished on the same day and Fred even showed me the old filters and ran down a list of everything that was discovered. I have been using Tech One since 2005 and they have worked on a number of vehicles for me. Most of it has been scheduled maintenance, but they have also taken care of some accident repair for me. I have always been treated very well by all of their staff (Maria is WONDERFUL!) and have always felt that even if the prices weren't the best in town, it was fair and reasonable. The work they do is always done right the first time and I never have to worry about being shortchanged on service. Since I first started taking my vehicles to Tech One, I have moved more than 60 miles away from their shop at Thunderbird & Loop 101. Even so, I STILL take all of my vehicles to them because I know that I will be treated well and get everything that I pay for done right. I highly recommend Fred and his crew to anyone who needs maintenance or repair work done, no matter how big or small the job.
